Course description

This full day Canine Emergency First Aid course provides individuals who work with dogs and dog owners with a lifesaving tool in an emergency situation. Divided into two parts: Professional First Aid and Trauma Response, participants learn to identify injuries and illness in the initial stages of an emergency. This course provides essential information and skills which may positively impact survival while enroute to veterinary care. Hands-on practical activities with a live, trained seminar dog and a CPR canine mannequin are incorporated into the session. Participants must complete a summary exam and will receive a certificate upon successful completion.
