Course description

This course is designed to build on the skills developed through the community of practice in Seminar 1, to support and reinforce ECE students' learning during this field placement. Students continue to reflect on the importance of the student role in an early learning setting as they work towards building relationships with children, colleagues and families. Opportunities are provided to discuss, problem-solve and reflect on their work during the process of becoming a responsive caregiver.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
