Program description
Events can be used to stimulate economies, develop community awareness, increase public involvement, improve quality of life, raise funds and market products. Managing a successful event of any size requires extensive know-how and planning. In 小优短视频鈥檚 Event Management program, you gain the skills and experience to prepare for an exciting career in a fast-paced industry that relies on client satisfaction. The curriculum, designed by industry professionals, enables you to explore current trends and technologies that drive the industry. You have opportunities to gain hands-on experience in planning, marketing, executing and evaluating events. By the end of the program, you are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience to find employment in the event industry.

- Complete an online application using the using the part-time program code
- When registration opens, 聽select the course(s) from the program webpage course listing and follow the prompt steps to register and pay

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
Finance and fees
As a part-time student, you may be eligible for OSAP funding, depending on the number of courses you take per semester.
For more information about OSAP, including eligibility requirements and how to apply, visit the OSAP/financial aid webpage.
As a part-time student, you can take one to three courses per semester, paying on a course-by-course basis.

Online learning
These courses are offered through OntarioLearn. Visit the OntarioLearn webpage to learn more.
OntarioLearn courses are set up as equivalents to the 小优短视频 courses. You can choose to take the ODE courses or the 小优短视频 courses.
When a 小优短视频 course isn鈥檛 available to be delivered online, we鈥檝e listed an OntarioLearn course in the delivery schedule. The majority of the 小优短视频 courses have ODE equivalents set up. You can choose to take either course.
Credit for Prior Learning (CPL)
Previous postsecondary education: If you鈥檝e completed courses, or some or all of a program, at another accredited postsecondary institution, you may be able to transfer all or some of your courses into a related program at 小优短视频.
Relevant work or life experience: If you have relevant work and/or life experience that relates to your program(s) of interest at 小优短视频, Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) is an academic credit option.
