Program description
The complexity of industry鈥檚 labour and entrepreneurial needs requires managers who can work with in a variety of settings and in cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams. This program fills that need by providing project management training to candidates who require project management skills to ensure new ventures have potential for successful delivery. The program covers technical, leadership, business, and strategic management subjects with an emphasis on understanding and managing change as applied to project management.
Please note: There are different sections for this program. For the full-time program delivery, one is delivered entirely at the main聽Barrie Campus聽and the other is delivered at the聽聽(5 Ross St.) with Student Services offered at the main campus. The聽Arch and Helen Brown Design and Digital Arts Centre聽is located just minutes away from the waterfront. You鈥檒l learn in our fully equipped studios using industry standard tools, and you鈥檒l have the opportunity to network with leaders in your field and real-world clients.
In addition to the part-time online program delivery, there is a part-time in-person delivery of this program starting in May 2024 at Port Elgin (near the Owen Sound Campus). For more information, visit our part-time program page.

What are the admission requirements for the Project Management program?
Project Management admission requirements
- Post-secondary diploma, degree or equivalent.
Applicants who do not possess the above academic requirement may be considered聽upon submission of a resume and reference letters which demonstrate relevant work聽experience.
Additional information
Students may be required to purchase or to install computer hardware or software outside of standard program tuition/ancillary fees. These requirements will be provided as part of the course specific documentation upon enrollment.
Based on the program of study and semester organization, students who have successfully completed semester 1, may wish to write the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)庐 Certification聽Examination.
Based on the program of study and semester organization, students who have successfully completed semester 2, may wish to write the Project Management Professional (PMP)庐 Certification聽Examination.
CAPM and PMP are registered marks of the Project Management Institute, Inc.

Using technology-enabled, purpose-designed learning spaces, professors deliver lectures and labs in the classroom and simultaneously online.
